The Stats Are Back!

After a month of not posting anything except on Twitter, I have been able to make new postings for the last  four weeks.  Although stalwart US cities still seemed to be reading the Cheatsheets while I recovered,  overseas viewership dropped off precipitously.  Readers in China especially fell off the charts.

I refused to track anything but a couple of days.  My readership that really began to grow in March, shrunk day by day in May.  What was very frustrating was there were issues to discuss being reported that were subjects right along the themes herein.  I just really couldn't type with any sense of authority.  Voice didn't work for me; I type to a rhythm.

As soon as the cast came off in June, I could type and I could post.  A bit sore at first, but I persevered.  And the daily tracking went up with each post, as I held my breath and plotted the numbers.  Still a significant decrease in monthly visitors compared to March, but a clear trend in right direction.

I mention China because China has consistently been the second nation outside the USA in readership of this blog.  The first is, and has been since I have been tracking, is Germany.  Of course, Germany has more American military installations than any other nation outside the US.  This fact could account for high German readership because the readers are actually US service members located in Germany.  I seriously doubt the US military has any footprint in China.  I most note Singapore is also in the top rankings.

So, if you are in anyway curious about from where your fellow readers of The Dispatches From the Front might hail from, check out the STATS page.  How all these people find this blogsite I don't know.  It is indeed gratifying for me that they do.

Now, when will Council Bluffs, Iowa, reclaim its status as the Number 1 city in the entire USA and world for readers of The Dispatches From Front?  Remember... I am watching and tracking.  Stay tuned.
