A More Detailed Look At Windows 11 File Explorer.

Any one who has Office 2007 will recognize the new Ribbon motif (my term) that is the first noticeable change to Windows Explorer 11.  The most widely used commands: New Item; Cut; Copy; Paste; Rename; and Delete are accessed directly from the ribbon.  Windows 11 File Explorer does not completely eliminate drop down menus.  The Create New Item list, which is the first object on the ribbon, is a drop down menu is from Windows 11 File Explorer.

The View Settings Drop Down Menu has not changed drastically.

Much has made about the change in the Right Click Context Menus.  Microsoft seems to have made the decision to place the most commonly used controls available from a Right Click.  A Left Click on Show More Options will display the Complete Context File Menu that more experienced users will use.

And the single Left Click on Show More Options displays the full File Context Menu.
