Get To Know the Windows Snippet Tool.

Windows 10 and Windows 11 have a really cool easy to use copy tool called the Snippet tool.
The Snippet allows you to easily outline a region on your Windows screen and copy that outlined area.

You can access the Snippet Tool from the Apps list on the Start Menu.
The keyboard short cut to bring up the Snippet Tool is SHIFT + Windows (logo) key + S

When you bring up the Snippet Tool, it appears and the screen will dim.

Choose the method that you wish to use to make your outline.  The choices are:

1. A  square/rectangle snip.  No real art or graphics skills needed.
2. A freeform snip.  A bit more artistic or graphic skills may be required.
3. A "Window snip," that Microsoft claims is used to Select a window, such as a dialog box, that you want to capture.
OK. What-ev-eh-ah.
4. Capture the entire screen.

The square Snippet tool was used to copy one image from the collection displayed on home page at https://www.nitebluz.com. Then Control + V to paste that image into my graphics app.  Although any method of pasting you choose to employ will work just as well. If you are not sure what to paste your snippet into, I suggest MS Paint.

The Snippet Tool is truly one of the easiest to use graphics tools you will find.
